Easter – New Product Carrot Cake

Happy Hopping Easter to you! We are so pleased to introduce you to our latest product – Carrot Tea Cake and Carrot with Walnut and Raisin Tea Cake.

Shredding the carrots to the right size that is not too chunky and yet, able to release its flavour into the cake was a BIG challenge.

On our first attempt, the taste was a immediate success, afterall, baking vegan cakes is already at the tip of our fingers. However, we were unable to taste the carrots. Perhaps there were too much raisins and walnut. So my second attempt, the carrot taste was much better, except that the cake was too dense. With the third attempt, the cake was uncooked!!! ;( guess I was too eager to try the cake. On the fouth attempt, hmmm it tasted good but texture has to be improved, so we have to make it more moist for our final attempt. And finally, on our fifth attempt, we LOVE it!

Beautiful texture, flavorful taste and with a light touch of our trans-fat free vegan cream cheese, 100% self-made with our secret recipe, this carrot tea cake is a winner!
