A picture usually speaks a thousand words. However, I wouldn’t be able to do so today as I have yet to process all the photos taken during the workshop.
Hence, bear with me because I’m going to blog a thousand words today. Hope it won’t be too much before I bore you to death. =)
I will probably touch on the highlights during the dining etiquette workshop at Coffee Nations.
It was really a blessing to have the owner of Coffee Nations, Wei Ren, to sponsor his venue for us to hold this event.
Together with Sherrine from Image and You, who specialised in image consulting and organizing workshops and Ms. Oi Lin, The Magic Oven community baking project pioneer, who does the famous Almond Sugee Cookies, we had a blasting good time and sharing with everyone else who were present that day.
Unfortunately, a couple of the attendees reported sick and some were unable to make it last minute to the workshop. It was a pity that we missed them as the sharing was indeed interesting and I had definitely learnt a lot especially peeling a prawn dish in a fine dining environment. However, for those who have missed out the good show, below are some of the highlights that Sherrine had conducted despite her 3 months pregnancy.
I’m so glad that Sherrine was so generous with her sharing that day and she was able to interacts not just with the adults but also with children. It was only after talking to her, I realised that she also conducts children’s etiquette classes too!
Here is a comment made by one of our guest:
