This week, we received many orders from repeat customers who came back to us for a second round of sweet treats. =D We were also flooded with orders from, new friends we made along the way and the curious residents of Bishan who were drawn by our irresitable offerings.

• Andy from ABC photography studio who supported our desserts after sitting in during my BNI’s presentation.
• Vindy, Vincent’s sister, who chose Delcie’s Desserts for catering her gathering with her friends. Thanks for keeping us in mind!
• Huw Hopkin, my ex ad agency Managing Director, and his wife, Joelle, who recently had a baby, Morgan. Thank you for ordering from us to cater the desserts portion for Morgan’s 1st month celebration. When I delivered the desserts and left it on the catering table, the next moment when I turned around to get a drink, the whole box of desserts were gone! Little did I know was that Huw’s mother-in-law went around the tables to distribute Delcie’s Desserts to their guests. At the end of the day, Huw relayed to me the overwhelmingly positive feedback that his guests gave to him. They were intrigued and delighted by our desserts and were hungry to learn more. =)
• Beng Soon, a fellow BNI member, who ordered 4 Fantastic Four gift sets for his friend’s party. He gave me a testimonial during the meeting stating that our desserts made him “shine” during the party and that the host remembers him as the guy who gave him the desserts. He mentioned that giving our Fantastic Four gift set was a fresh and unconventional gift ideal. This made Delcie’s Desserts a much more memorable choice of gift for his friend  compared to the rest of the people who gave mostly wine and flowers. • Jeffrey, Amy’s husband who also supported our desserts after sitting in during my BNI’s presentation.
• Huw’s mother-in-law, who ordered more desserts from us after Morgan’s 1st month party. Thank you Auntie!
• Wen, our BNI’s event planner, who ordered desserts from us on 2 occasions. One for herself and the other for her boyfriend, Jeremy’s office farewell party. Thank you Wen and we hope you’ll get well soon!
• Malcom, my private wealth adviser from Meyado, who did a fantastic financial planning for me and gave me various choices to invest with the possibility to do offshore banking. If you need someone to handle your money, he’s the man to look for. Anyway, he ordered desserts from me to help me spread some love to his office colleagues and friends. Thanks for spreading the love!
• Yuli, and her daughter Nicole, for the sweet SMS they left me earlier in the week. I met Nicole last Wednesday when she was just discharged from the hospital. She was a sweet little girl but speaks like an adult. Nicole is living proof that the children programs organized by MindChamp are extremely effective. Yuli is a education coach from MindChamp and hence, it’s only natural that Nicole is sent there for coaching. With Yuli’s birthday coming, she ordered 30cups of Delcie’s dessert for members in our BNI group so that each of us could bring it home for our family to try. =D Thanks Yuli, it’s really kind of you!
• Steve, an eco-friendly guy who I met last Wednesday. He was giving me alot of advice on how to run my business and quoting examples from his friends who also taught him the same thing in managing a business. Thank you Steve for your advice! Plus, he collected his orders to surprise his friends over dinner.
• Xiang Ning and Joshua. Thanks for dropping by the shop and support my desserts =) Hope to see you both next week with the durian paste! Joshua is my primary school classmate who is currently running his dad’s successful durian empire. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get my durians from him so I can soon launch my durian flavour. =P
