The Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (ACRES) was founded by a group of Singaporeans and registered as a society on 24th May 2001. ACRES aims to:

Foster respect and compassion for all animals.
Improve the living conditions and welfare of animals in captivity.
Educate people on lifestyle choices which do not involve the abuse of animals and which are environment-friendly.

Today, this wonderful organization will have having their gala cum birthday dinner to celebrate their 9th anniversary in Singapore. And together with them, Delcie’s will be sponsoring our organic, egg-free, dairy-free birthday cake for their celebration and a special take-home gift “banana tea cake” for all their 300 guests!

Banana Tea Cake Ingredients:
Bananas, organic wholemeal unbleached flour, organic raw sugar, organic calcium enriched brown rice milk, organic low glycemic natural sweetener, trans-fat free grapeseed/canola oil.

Besides ordering online, Delcie’s will soon be available in Four Seasons Organic Market. We may look into retailing our cakes at their mini-cafe located in the Citi Square Mall branch but I’ll still need to see if there will be a demand there before retailing my cakes over the counter.

To start off, we will be going into partnership with Four Seasons Organic Market and I’m grateful to Mrs Tan, for giving me such an opportunity to market my cakes in 3 of their outlets.

All cake orders can be placed over at their cashier counters and payment may be made on the spot. If you’re not tech-savvy to do internet baking transfer or find that ATM transfer is a hassle, you may purchase our cakes directly with them.

Alternatively, you may also visit Loving Hut cafes at Parklane Mall and International Plaza to purchase cake slices for sampling.

Cakes will normally be delivered to City Square Outlet for self-collection. Alternatively, delivery services directly to your home or other Four Seasons Organic Market outlets are also available at our standard delivery charge.

We will be retailing officially on the 3rd week of June at the following 3 outlets:

• Great World City, #B2-07, 1 Kim Seng Promenade
• City Square Mall, #03-46/47, 180 Kitchener Road
• Parkway Parade, #B-83A, 80 Marine Parade Road

Hmm, just a note to Jennifer, the cakes were all all baked by me, not Santhia.

I guess the turn up was too massive that I don’t think everyone knew that I was the baker who bake those cakes. Nonetheless, I’m really elated to know that my cakes and desserts had added value to the gathering.

In fact, some of them even asked for 2nd serving! Hehehe!

I would really like to thank you to all who had tasted and had given me your comments. I really do appreciate all your time to try my cakes and those little notes of encouragement.

I will continue to bake my cakes even better that what you have all tasted! Now, that’s what I called, baked with love. ;P
