What a blasting day at UNLV, Singapore, on 22 Dec 2008! I was invited by Nick, the lecturer of this wonder class doing their bachelor program to give an hour lecture to his students.
The students were amazing and there was a good mix of foreign students and local students in the class. I supposed most of them should be around the age of 19 to 22. In fact, when I was asked to meet Nick at the National Library Board reception counter, I was really surprised to find a hidden university in the National Library. I didn’t know there was such a school in the building but having a university in the library was a fantastic idea! The students will be able to benefit from all the available resources from there without having to walk too far away from school. Moreover, it’s a learning hub!
